Volunteering at the 2021 Minnesota State Fair

It was another excellent year volunteering at the great Minnesota get-together!
On Friday, August 27th, a few Carlson Engineering employees volunteered at the Minnesota Society of Professional Surveyors (MSPS) booth in the educational building at the Minnesota State Fair.
They hosted an augmented reality (AR) sandbox to help visitors understand mapping, topography, watersheds, and natural hazards during their time at the booth. They also taught the community about the profession of land surveying and passed out informational MSPS swag to visitors.
